We will be running our Friday routes in some areas on Saturday, 1/20, please see below to see if your service area is impacted.
Friday Tigard Customers: We will not be servicing your area this week. We had a crew out driving our Friday areas today and the road conditions in Tigard are still not safe for us to service. We will not be servicing Friday Tigard customers this week and service will be delayed one week. Please see below for how to prepare your extra material (no charge) on your next regular service day for each commodity.
Friday Sherwood Customers: Our drivers are scheduled to start late (9am) tomorrow on Saturday, 1/20. Drivers may be running routes out of order, so your drivers will arrive at a different time than you're used to. We will attempt to service all areas with garbage being the 1st priority. There may still be some areas that we cannot pick up due to safety concerns. If you're missed for any services, please see below for how to prepare your extra material (no charge) on your next regular service day for each commodity. If you still have a lot of snow or ice on the road in front of your home, placing your totes 1-2 feet away from the curb can be helpful to our drivers.
We will not be picking up glass for any Friday customers on Saturday, 1/20. These drivers have to exit their vehicles at every stop to empty the red bins and this is a safety hazard with the continued road conditions.
Friday customers who missed any services, here is how to prepare your materials for the next collection day:

Please keep in mind that any decision to run modified routes is because safety is our priority. We apologize for any inconvenience, but the safety of our employees is important to us; they have to be able to make it to work safely as well as drive the trucks through your neighborhoods. Your safety is also important to us. Our trucks have to stop and start at every home, which is not easy to do in the snow and ice.
If you have any questions, please contact our office. Our office and recycling depot will be closed Saturday, 1/20 and reopening at 8am Monday, 1/22. We appreciate your patience.
