Commercial Garbage Services

Pride Disposal & Recycling’s garbage collection services are tailored for your needs. As a business customer, you have a choice of carts or containers of different sizes.

What You Need to Know

Receptacle Sizing Guide

Pride provides a garbage roll cart or front-load container to every commercial customer. Roll carts come in four sizes. Our front load containers range in size from 1-yard to 8-yard (one yard of garbage is equal to approximately seven 32-gallon black garbage bags). We will consult with you to determine what size roll cart or container best suits your needs.

Enclosure and Access Requirements

Containers must be accessible on your service day. If you choose to build an enclosure, the following requirements must be met.

Enclosure Requirements

  • Inside enclosure dimensions of 20 feet wide and 10 feet deep.
  • Make sure the access point of the enclosure is not blocked by a center post.
  • Gates must hinged in front of the walls, not inside, to allow for the full 20-foot opening and necessary opening angle.
  • Full swing gates, allowing a 120-degree opening angle.
  • Gates must be able to be pinned in the closed and open (120-degree) positions.
  • Ensure 75 feet of unobstructed access to the front of the enclosure.
  • Ensure 25 feet of overhead clearance.
  • The location must allow trucks to safely re-enter traffic.

Garbage

Your garbage receptacle is for standard garbage only. When your receptacle is picked up, no blockage should prevent your garbage from falling from the container or cart. Please make sure nothing is wedged in your receptacle and that, whenever possible, all material is bagged inside your receptacle, which will keep it easy to empty.

Not Accepted

  • Hazardous Materials
  • Sharps/Needles
  • Wet Paint
  • Dirt/Rocks
  • Concrete
  • Hot Ashes
  • TVs
  • Laptop/Computer Monitor

Will my collection be impacted by inclement weather?

When dealing with inclement weather, safety is our priority. The safety of our employees is important to us, and we prioritize their well-being whether they're behind the wheels of our trucks or traveling to and from work. Your safety is also important to us, and we may alter our collection services during inclement weather if we determine regular procedures may pose a danger to people or property. When roads are covered in snow and ice, for instance, it may be difficult for our trucks to safely stop and start at every home. If we make the decision to alter our collection services in any way due to weather, we will do our best to notify all customers of the change.
