Update as of 9/17 at 11:15am: We are now done with yard debris for the day as our drivers have reached their limit on hours. If your yard debris was not picked up, please read the yard debris section below for when your yard debris will be picked up, and how to prepare your extras.
Due to the ongoing unhealthy air quality, we will be running limited Wednesday routes on Thursday, 9/17. Air quality remains very poor but has made some minor improvements. We will be limiting driver hours to limit exposure to the air quality. We will be running modified routes for Wednesday customers on Thursday 9/17, as described below:
We are basing these decisions on smoke/weather forecasts and may have to change our plan early Thursday morning if air quality deteriorates overnight.
- Garbage: We will pick up garbage. We will not be picking up any extra material that requires the driver to exit the vehicle. If we can pick up your extra material without exiting the vehicle, we will pick it up.
- Yard debris: We will pick up yard debris. We will not be picking up any extra material that requires the driver to exit the vehicle. If we can pick up your extra material without exiting the vehicle, we will pick it up. It is possible we may not be able to service all yard debris customers due to limiting driver hours. Garbage will be our first priority, then yard debris as time allows. If your yard debris does not get serviced, we will pick up extras on your next service day. You can place the extras in paper lawn bags or a personal tote, they cannot be in plastic bags.
- If your yard debris is picked up weekly, your next pick up will be 9/23.
- If your yard debris is picked up every other week, your next pick up will be 9/30.
- Recycling: We will not be picking up recycling. On your next regularly scheduled recycling pick up you can place extras in a cardboard box, paper bag, or rigid plastic container like a laundry basket, they cannot be in plastic bags.
